Buying an Item

To purchase an item at GearTrade, follow these steps:

1. Click on Buy This Item located beneath the item description.
2. You will be asked to enter your billing information, including your shipping address and credit card information. The quantity you specified has been reserved for you, but only for 15 minutes. This means that no one else can purchase the item while you are completing the purchase form. GearTrade accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa credit cards.
3. Once the information is entered, click on Submit to verify the information that you have provided.
4. After verifying the information, click on Accept button to finalize your order.

After making your purchase, the following will occur:

• The seller will be notified of your order and provided with your name and shipping information.
• Within 5 business days (weekends and holidays are excluded) you will either get a shipping tracking number for your item or you will be notified that the order has cancelled. Due to the nature of a swap marketplace, occasionally sellers do not ship items and orders will cancel.
• Use the tracking number to track your shipment and estimate its arrival time.
• Once you receive the item, check to see that it matches the item's description.
