Making a Purchase Decision

The condition of an item is evaluated according to the following criteria:

New    Never used. Gear is closeout gear or was purchased and has not been used.
Excellent    Gear should be like new with very minor, if any, signs of use. Most likely used a handful of times.
Good    Gear still in good shape. Some wear and tear, but not extremely noticeable. Most likely used for at most a season or two with light use.
Fair    Gear still usable and in OK shape, but shows noticeable wear and tear. Most likely has seen several seasons with heavy use.

In addition to the condition, the seller should have listed all the information necessary for you to make a purchase decision. However, occasionally you may need to find out more information about an item before you can make an informed decision.
