Registering

Registering for an account is not necessary to search for gear at GearTrade. Once you find the gear you are looking for, you will need to register for an account in order to make your purchase. Registering for an account is necessary as it allows GearTrade to manage your transactions and contact you in the unlikely event of a problem with your order. Registering for an account qualifies you to both buy and sell gear at GearTrade. For the moment, GearTrade can accommodate buyers only within the United States.

Your personal information will be secure. The seller never sees your credit card information and will receive only your name and shipping address. GearTrade will not release your personal information to anyone besides our partners. GearTrade will not provide any information that can be used to identify you, regardless of its source, to any other party (outside of your transaction) for any purpose. To register for an account, follow these steps:

1. Click on Registration and begin entering in your information.
   
2. If you have any questions about a particular field, look for the icon for help.
   
3. Once you complete the form, click Accept to finalize your registration.
